SAP Connect supports SAP Business One, SAP S/4HANA, Syspro and Microsoft Dynamics 365 out of the box, with a generic adapter pattern for other systems. It maps and syncs the entities that matter to quality: customers and contacts, suppliers and vendors, purchase orders and line items, goods receipts (GRNs), delivery notes, work orders, production batches and lots, and customer returns. Each ERP entity gets its own dedicated page in the QMS where you can see, search, filter, export and AI-enrich the data.
A QMS Built for SAP Business One
Most quality management systems treat SAP Business One as an afterthought — generic ERP connectors, middleware, or CSV exports. Synesis QMS connects to SAP B1 natively. Choose it in Administration, enter the server, port and credentials for that mode, press Test Connection, and the same importers and the same QMS pages work on top of whichever path you picked. Switch modes when your SAP landscape changes — from SQL Server to HANA, or from a direct database connection to the Service Layer — without touching a quality record.
SAP Business One Service Layer
REST / OData · Recommended
Connects to SAP's own web API (/b1s/v2, default port 50000 over HTTPS) using an SAP B1 user login. Reads Business Partners, Purchase Orders, Goods Receipt POs, Deliveries, Production Orders, Returns and Batch details through the objects SAP publishes and validates — the same path SAP recommends for every new integration, on HANA and on SQL Server, on-premise or in the SAP cloud.
Test Connection logs in to the Service Layer and reports its version.
SAP HANA
Direct Database · Read-Only
For SAP Business One, version for SAP HANA, the QMS connects with the HANA client to a read-only database user. Fastest path for large historical imports and for reporting that joins across many B1 tables; nothing is written to SAP.
Test Connection queries the HANA system database and reports the instance.
Microsoft SQL Server
Direct Database · Read-Only
For SAP Business One on Microsoft SQL Server, the QMS reads the company database directly through a read-only login — the right choice for on-premise installs where the QMS sits on the same network and the SAP team prefers to grant a database view rather than an API user.
Test Connection confirms the database name and SQL Server version.

Two-Way Sync
Vendor master synced both ways. Approve a supplier in QMS and the approval flows back to the ERP. Block a supplier in ERP and they're blocked in QMS.

PO data drives receiving inspection. Match incoming material to PO lines, capture lot and serial numbers, link inspection results to the originating PO.
