Synesis CMMS Inspections & Calibration manages every measurement instrument and every inspection point in your operation. Each instrument has a calibration record with frequency, tolerance, last/next due dates, calibration certificate, and traceability to standards. Out-of-tolerance results trigger automatic quality investigations in Synesis QMS. Equipment inspections — safety, environmental, lubrication, leak checks — run on the same scheduling engine as preventive maintenance.
The system supports ISO 17025-accredited calibration labs with traceability to national standards, uncertainty budgets, and proper certificate management. Internal calibration is supported with the same rigor. Inspections capture pass/fail, measured values, photos, and signatures on mobile devices. Automatic QMS Investigation
When a calibration finds an instrument out-of-tolerance, the system automatically opens a quality investigation in Synesis QMS for the period since the last calibration. Affected work orders, lots, and inspections are flagged.

Each instrument carries its own calibration frequency and next-due date, so the system continuously watches the calendar and surfaces instruments approaching or past due before they are used. Due and overdue calibrations appear on dashboards and drive reminders, and an instrument that is out of calibration can be blocked from use on quality-critical operations. When a calibration comes back out of tolerance, Synesis CMMS triggers an automatic QMS investigation rather than just recording a failed reading.
